Apricot Seeds B17 B17 Boosters

Apricot Power is your ultimate source for high quality Apricot Seeds and B17 extracts! With such a wide range of products it can be difficult to determine where is best to start, and in this blog we'll break down where to begin, how to move up, and each of our core products in detail.

The Starting Point:

Begin with just 1 apricot seed (or capsule) and see how you feel. As a recommended starting point, many people choose to space their intake throughout the day, often around 2 seeds per hour and taken with food. From there, you can adjust your pace over time based on your own comfort and routine.

As Amygdalin (B17) is a natural compound found in many foods, the "safe" amount is defined by your own processing speed.

If you move up too quickly, you may experience temporary dizziness, nausea or a stomach ache. If this happens, simply scale back, allow your body more time to acclimate, and you can decide how to proceed from there.

The Adjustment Period & Scaling up:

As you take the product you will get more familiar with how your body responds, and can adjust the amount you're taking, or the timeframe to move up accordingly.

Most people who are looking for general wellness tend to stay within 5-25 seeds (100-500mg of B17) per day, with those looking for higher amounts of the B17 generally moving up to the 500-1500mg range (25-75 seeds). 1500mg is generally considered the limit of what the body can process orally in a day.

While a majority of our customers start with the seeds or seed capsules, many who are looking for higher amounts of the B17 tend to move up to the B17 Extracts and B17 Boosters.

Which product is right for me?

Our Apricot Seeds have up to 20 mg of B17 per seed, and most of our customers will start with 2-3 seeds per day, with food. The key is to start with a small amount of seeds, and if you decide it's best, to gradually move up over time.

Some customers enjoy the amaretto taste and process of eating the seeds, but for those looking to avoid the bitter bite, or for something that is just more convenient while travling, they tend to gravitate toward our Apricot Seed Capsules.

Each of our Apricot Seed Capsules contains up to 2 ½ finely ground up apricot seeds (up to 50mg of B17) encapsulated, so you can get the full nutritional value of the seeds without having to chew or taste them. As each capsule contains the ground seeds, along side the B17 these seeds also have a lot of other nutritional value such as:

- Super B15

- Naturally occurring Enzymes

- Vitamins A & E

- Fiber

Much More

For those looking to get higher amounts of the B17 we also carry B17 Extracts.

Our Apricot Seed Extracts (B17) come in 100mg and 500mg variations, in either capsule or tablet form. The extracts are wonderful for getting more Amygdalin without having to take large amounts of the seeds or seed capsules, however they just contain Amygdalin extracted from the seeds rather than having the full nutritional value of the Apricot Seeds (More info on that here).

For those looking for larger amounts of both amygdalin and the other core components of the seeds we also have extracts of the B15 TMG and Naturally occurring enzymes from within the seeds, which, alongside the B17 makes up what we call 'The Big 3'

The 'Big 3' are the 3 main components of the apricot seeds (B17, B-15 and Enzymes), and are a great way to more closley emulate the full nutritonal value of the seeds without having to take a lot of seed capsules, or eat a lot of seeds. While they can be purchased as standalone products, we also carry bundles of all 3 products at a discountet rate, which can be found here.

TO SUMMARIZE: While everybody's needs are different most people tend to gravitate toward our Apricot Seeds or Seed Capsules to start, and if they're looking to move up, will start to move toward our B17 Extracts & Boosters.

FAQS:

Q. What is the difference between the Capsules and Tablets?

A. The Capsules and Tablets contain the same nutritional value and it would just come down to preference. The Tablets are smaller and easy to cut, and others prefer the capsules as they find them easier to take on their own.

Q. How should I store my seeds?

A. We recommend you do not freeze the apricot seeds. They are best kept in a cool, dry place outside of direct sunlight, such as the the refrigerator or pantry.

Q. Can I take apricot seeds and B17 together?

A. Yes, however they should be spread out at least one hour apart from each other. If you notice any unwanted side effects like dizziness, head ache or upset stomach then you're consuming too much too fast.

If you decide to take both, always keep in mind what amount your body is used to, and the amygdalin content of each product to ensure you're not taking too much at once.
